Dialogue 1
甲：莉莎，我能跟你谈一下吗？
jiǎ ：lì shā ，wǒ néng gēn nǐ tán yī xià ma ？
乙：当然可以。
yǐ ：dāng rán kě yǐ 。
甲：你看了我们上个月的盈亏报告了吗？
jiǎ ：nǐ kàn le wǒ men shàng gè yuè de yíng kuī bào gào le ma ？
乙：我看了。
yǐ ：wǒ kàn le 。
甲：发生什么事了？我们为什么赔钱呢？
jiǎ ：fā shēng shén me shì le ？wǒ men wèi shén me péi qián ne ？
乙：我不知道。我想你最好跟我们的总会计师谈一谈。
yǐ ：wǒ bù zhī dào 。wǒ xiǎng nǐ zuì hǎo gēn wǒ men de zǒng kuài jì shī tán yī tán 。
A: Lisa, can I have a word with you?
B: Yes, of course.
A: Did you read our Profit and Loss statement for last month?
B: Yes, I did.
A: What's going on? Why are we losing money?
B: I don't know. I guess you'd better talk to our chief accountant.
Dialogue 2
甲：看，那有一大群人。
jiǎ ：kàn ，nà yǒu yī dà qún rén 。
乙：出什么事了？
yǐ ： chū shén me shì le ？
甲：可能是车祸。
jiǎ ：kě néng shì chē huò 。
乙：你说对了。好像司机受伤了。
yǐ ： nǐ shuō duì le 。hǎo xiàng sī jī shòu shāng le 。
甲：得有人叫一部救护车。
jiǎ ：de yǒu rén jiào yī bù jiù hù chē 。
乙：没错。我去给医院打电话。
yǐ ： méi cuò 。wǒ qù gěi yī yuàn dǎ diàn huà 。
A: Look, there is a large crowd of people over there.
B: What's going on?
A: It might be a traffic accident.
B: You've got it. It seems that the driver was hurt.
A: Someone has to get an ambulance.
B: You are right. I'll go and call the hospital.
Dialogue 3
甲：汤姆，拳击比赛结束了吗？
jiǎ ：tāng mǔ ，quán jī bǐ sài jié shù le ma ？
乙：还没有。这是最后一个回合。
yǐ ： hái méi yǒu 。zhè shì zuì hòu yí gè huí hé 。
甲：情况进展得怎么样？谁赢了？
jiǎ ： qíng kuàng jìn zhǎn de zěn me yàng ？shuí yíng le ？
乙：很难说。双方实力相当。
yǐ ： hěn nán shuō 。shuāng fāng shí lì xiāng dāng 。
A: Tom, is the boxing match finished?
B: Not yet. It's the last round.
A: What's going on? Who is winning?
B: Hard to say. The two are evenly matched.
