Dialogue 1
甲：约翰，对不起。国庆节期间的飞机票都卖完了。
jiǎ : yuē hàn ，duì bù qǐ 。guó qìng jié qī jiān de fēi jī piào dōu mài wán le 。
乙：真的吗？我没有料到。
yǐ : zhēn de ma ？wǒ méi yǒu liào dào 。
甲：大概是因为节假期间人人都想要出去旅游吧。
jiǎ : dà gài shì yīn wèi jié jià qī jiān rén ren dōu xiǎng yào chū qù lǚ yóu bɑ 。
乙：我应该提前订票。
yǐ : wǒ yīng gāi tí qián dìng piào 。
甲：别着急。如果有人取消预定我会告诉你的。
jiǎ ：bié zháo jí 。rú guǒ yǒu rén qǔ xiāo yù dìng wǒ huì gào sù nǐ de 。
乙：没关系。也许我会改变我的计划。不管怎样还是要谢谢你。
yǐ ： méi guān xi 。yě xǔ wǒ huì gǎi biàn wǒ de jì huà 。bù guǎn zěn yàng hái shì yào xiè xie nǐ 。
A: John, I'm sorry. The air tickets for the National Day are sold out.
B: Really? I didn't expect that.
A: It's possibly because everyone wants to travel during the holiday weekend.
B: I should have booked the ticket in advance.
A: Take it easy. I'll let you know if anyone decides to cancel a reservation.
B: That's all right. Maybe I'll change my plan. Thank you all the same.
Dialogue 2
甲: 迪勒先生，我用什么价格可以买到那房子？
jiǎ : dí lè xiān shēng ，wǒ yòng shén me jià gé kě yǐ mǎi dào nà fáng zi ？
乙：对不起，琼斯太太。我已经跟房东还价了。可是他一分钱也不肯让。
yǐ :
duì bù qǐ ，qióng sī tài tai 。wǒ yǐ jīng gēn fáng dōng huán jià le 。kě shì tā yī fēn qián yě bù kěn ràng 。
甲：真是遗憾。要是他不降价我就不会买。
jiǎ : zhēn shì yí hàn 。yào shì tā bù jiàng jià wǒ jiù bú huì mǎi 。
乙：哎，我已经尽了最大的努力。
yǐ : āi ，wǒ yǐ jīng jìn le zuì dà de nǔ lì 。
甲：不管怎么样，还是要谢谢你，迪勒先生。
jiǎ ：bù guǎn zěn me yàng ，hái shì yào xiè xie nǐ ，dí lè xiān shēng 。
乙：不必客气。
yǐ ：bù bì kè qì 。
A: Mr. Dealer, what price can I get for that house?
B: I'm sorry. Madam Jones, I've bargained with the house owner. But he wouldn't lower a penny of the price.
A: What a pity ! I won't buy it if won't bring down the price.
B: Well, I've done my best.
A: Thank you all the same, Mr Dealer.
B: You are welcome.
Dialogue 3
甲: 莉莉，你要的那种牌子的口红在香港买不到。
jiǎ : lì li ，nǐ yào de nà zhǒng pái zi de kǒu hóng zài xiāng gǎng mǎi bú dào 。
乙：真遗憾。
yǐ ：zhēn yí hàn 。
甲：对不起。我几乎已经找遍香港所有的商店。
jiǎ : duì bù qǐ 。wǒ jī hū yǐ jīng zhǎo biàn xiāng gǎng suǒ yǒu de shāng diàn 。
乙：不要紧。不管怎样还是要谢谢你。
yǐ : bú yào jǐn 。bù guǎn zěn yàng hái shì yào xiè xie nǐ 。
A: Lily, that brand of lipstick you wanted is not available in Hong Kong now.
B: That's a pity.
A: I'm sorry. I've searched almost every store in Hong Kong.
B: Never mind. Thank you all the same.
