• 这间屋子有5米长，3米宽。
  zhè jiān wū zǐ yǒu 5 mǐ cháng，3 mǐ kuān。
  The room is 5 meters in length and 3 meters in width.

• 黄河的长度大约有5600多米。
  huáng hé de cháng dù dà yuē yǒu 5600 duō mǐ。
  Huang River is about 5600 meters long.
  
  

• 北京距离上海大概1400多公里。
  běi jīng jù lí shàng hǎi dà gài 1400 duō gōng lǐ。
  Beijing lies about 1400 kilometers far from Shanghai.
  

• 我身高一米七八。
  wǒ shēn gāo yī mǐ qī bā。
  I'm 1.78 meters tall.

• 我家的面积大概有30个平米。
  wǒ jiā de miàn jī dà gài yǒu 30 gè píng mǐ。
  The size of my house is about 30 square meters.
  

• 这个广场有两个足球场那么大。
  zhè gè guǎng chǎng yǒu liǎng gè zú qiú chǎng nà me dà。
  This square is twice as large as a football court.

  The gross weight of the bag of rice is 51 kilos.

• 我发烧了，体温已经38度了。
  wǒ fā shāo le， tǐ wēn yǐ jīng 38 dù le。
  I've got a fever and my temperature is already 38℃ high.

• 今天太热了，都已经40度了。
  jīn tiān tai rè le， dōu yǐ jīng 40 dù le。
  It's very hot today and the maximun temperature is 40℃.

• 今天晚间最低气温零下4度。
  jīn tiān wǎn jiān zuì dī qì wēn líng xià 4 dù。
  The minimum temperature of this evening is -4℃.

• 你今年多大了？
  nǐ jīn nián duō dà le？
  How old are you?

• 你几岁了？（Asking kids）
  nǐ jǐ suì le？
  How old are you?

• 您多大岁数了？(Asking senior people)

  How old are you?

  liǎng kuài qián yī gè。
  Two yuan for one piece.

  píng guǒ zěn me mài？
  How much are these apples?

• 苹果一块钱一斤。
  píng guǒ yī kuài qián yī jīn。
  One yuan for one jin of apple.

• 中国大约有13亿人口。
  zhōng guó dà yuē yǒu 13 yì rén kǒu。
  China has a population of over 1.3 billion.

  zhè běn shū yǒu liǎng bǎi yè zuǒ yòu 。
  This book has about 200 pages.

  The average salary is more or less than 800 yuan.

  The age of the employees in our campany ranges from 25 to 35.

  My fathers' age is twice of mine this year.

  This book costs twice as much as that one.

  wǒ mén gōng 0 yuán gōng de nán nǚ bǐ lì shì sān bǐ yī 。
  The proportion of men to women in our company is 3 to 1.

• 女职员占公司总人数的五分之一。
  nǚ zhí yuán zhàn gōng sī zǒng rén shù de wǔ fēn zhī yī 。
  The female staff in our company take one fifth of the whole in the company.

• 调查显示百分之二十的人不喜欢这部电影。
  diào chá xiǎn shì bǎi fēn zhī èr shí de rén bù xǐ huān zhè bù diàn yǐng。
  The investgation shows that 20 percent of the audience does not like the movie.
