Free Chinese Speaking Lesson: Supposition & Conditions

• 如果你不去，就给老师打个电话说一声。
  rú guǒ nǐ bù qù， jiù gěi lǎo shī dǎ gè diàn huà shuō yī shēng。
  Give our teacher a call, if you won't go.
  
  
  
• 要是下雨的话， 就不要去上街了。
  yào shì xià yǔ de huà， jiù bù yào qù shàng jiē le。
  Do not go shopping if it rains.
  
  
  
• 万一有人找我，就说我去图书馆了。
  wàn yī yǒu rén zhǎo wǒ， jiù shuō wǒ qù tú shū guǎn le。
  Should anyone call me, tell him I've gone to the libaray.
  
  
  
• 要不是你来了，我今天早上都不知道该怎么办了。
  yào bù shì nǐ lái le， wǒ jīn tiān zǎo shàng dōu bù zhī dào gāi zěn me bàn le 。
  I wouldn't know what to do if you didn't come this morning.
  
  
  
• 假如今年我有假期，就要去大连旅游一次 。
  jiǎ rú jīn nián wǒ yǒu jiǎ qī， jiù yào qù dà lián lǚ yóu yī cì。
  I will travel to Dalian if I have several days' vacation this year.
  
  
  
• 只要你努力，你就一定能学好汉语。
  zhī yào nǐ nǔ lì， nǐ jiù yī dìng néng xué hǎo hàn yǔ。
  You will make greatsuccess in learning Chinese as long as you study hard.
  
  
  
• 只有在九寨沟，你才能看见最美的景色。
  zhī yǒu zài jiǔ zhai gōu， nǐ cái néng kàn jiàn zuì měi de jǐng sè。
  You can't find better scenery anywhere else except in Jiuzhaigou.
  
  
  
• 要不是你的帮助，我这个研究怎么能这么容易成功。
  yào bù shì nǐ de bāng zhù， wǒ zhè gè yán jiū zěn me néng zhè me róng yì chéng gōng。
  My study won't be so easy without your help.
  
  
  
• 除非你也去，否则我就不去看那个电影。
  chú fēi nǐ yě qù， fǒu zé wǒ jiù bù qù kàn nà gè diàn yǐng。
  I will not go to the cinema unless you go with me.
  
  
  
• 多穿点儿， 要不你会感冒的。
  duō chuān diǎn ér ， yào bù nǐ huì gǎn mào de。
  Put more clothes on, otherwise you will catch a cold.
